One of the premier screwball comedies of the entire genre is this breakneck newspaper farce (originally filmed in 1931 as The Front Page) featuring the sidesplitting pairing of newspaper editor Cary Grant and star reporter Rosalind Russell, once married, now divorced, but thrown back together when a big story involving the imminent execution of a cop killer becomes front page news. But is all this a very thinly veiled attempt to win back his wife from the clutches of her new fiancée, the ever put-upon Ralph Bellamy.
