Portland Queer Film Festival

Now in its 23rd year, the Portland Queer Film Festival (PDXQ) takes place September 20 - 26, 2019 at Portland’s historic Cinema 21. The festival showcases films from all over the world that are made by, about or of interest to the Queer community.

After two decades of support from the queer community of Portland, the festival is working to give back. Each year, proceeds from the festival are donated to local charities, non-profits and groups working to better our community. This year's beneficiaries are Cascade Aids Project, Our House, Martha's Pantry and SAGE Metro Portland of Friendly House

Film is a dynamic medium with the power to educate, inspire, intrigue and bring people together. PDXQ is proud of its provocative and entertaining queer cinema programming. Over the years, the festival has been supported by the extremely generous support of our sponsors. More than ever, PDXQ needs the support community members, allies and local businesses.

A big thank you to our 2019 major sponsors: H. Dwayne Davis Group, Morel Ink, Wells Fargo, and the Ed Cauduro Fund of the OCF.
